The Frozen Gringos Heat Up The Cinnamon Tree!

The Frozen Gringos 2012 Finale: May 20th 2012

The story goes something like this........ Hugo Duarte was playing Hog's Breath in Key West when Ole' Jeff Pike crossed in front of the stage.... The sound shook and rattled Jeff as Hugo said "You're Jeff Pike!"....History was in the making. But it would take another meeting for these two fine young guys to get together.

As time went by these two artist crossed paths again. That my friends is when they pulled out their guitars and had a picking contest. They played till they decided they were both great.

Well we can all say Thank You Hugo for having an idea and bringing it to life. These two are living a life of Friendship, Laughter and Love for music lovers everywhere. House Concert Roadsters they are. They will tell ya the have played alot of states and towns with The Frozen Gringo Tour. They have never played for strangers... They have added to their music family.

We were so excited to be The Frozen Gringo finale. Don't worry if ya missed them this year, because these two are gonna stay on our Wanted List. Thats right TRockers.... The Frozen Gringo 2013 Tour is coming to a Town near you... If I were you I would not wait too long to add your name to the booking list.

Hugo Duarte has such a style when he plays guitar. I had seen that style years ago. It was wonderful to watch him pick and play his guitar as he sang songs of tales and tails... Hugo is a great host. Hugo greeted everyone before their eyes could focus from the sun light. I saw my girlfriend get all giggled up when she realized she was hugging and being greeted by Hugo himself. Like a little girl she came running over and asked if I just seen what happened. Hugo has this comfort charm that just feels like mom's cooking. The folk sway of his music is such a part of him. Hugo has a very soft side. Want to see Hugo light up and glow put a guitar in his hand! Hugo does not look like a grandpa. I think I need beauty secret tips from him. The rough look of a Gypsy Biker is just as it is. This fine southern talkin' smooth artist will warm your nose to toes with his unique style of Trop/Folk/ Americana.

Then along came ............

Jeff Pike is a living Peter Pan.... His little boy smile and charm will get ya ladies! Then he strums that wooden thing with strings and he has ya after that. Jeff plays with such puppy love for music. You get all swept away in the words of his songs you forget where ya are. I saw more women doing that silly Elvis sigh uuhhhh... I have to say Jeff is really great with his band A1A, but if you get the chance to see him alone take it like it's gold. Jeff is a music charmer. Ladies beware of falling in love with all his CDs.

Speaking of CDs ... The Frozen Gringos have been having so much fun together that it was bound to happen .. These two will soon be putting out a Gringo CD. Another insider secret is that these two song writers are writing new songs. 2013 is starting to look like a very good year.

House Concerts are the way to go. Don't just go see your favorite artists at some Bar/Grill/Pub...Invite them into your home and watch as your heart grows with a personal new found friend and fellow music lover.

All good things must come to an end. Until 2013 we Love ya Gringos........Cheers xo
