Greetings!
Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Brass Rail in Phillipsburg, NJ, on Friday night for the full band's debut there. It was a blast! Thanks also to all of you who crossed the river to the Jersey side (or just headed down the shore!) to join us for the Coastal Jersey Parrot Head Club-sponsored An "Aye" for an Eye - A Matey's Ball. What a fantastic party! The Coasties throw amazing events, and it was awesome seeing so many of our friends from neighboring Parrot Head clubs as well. Sharing the stage with some fabulous musicians -- Jersey John Hanney, Rockin' Randy, and Mario -- was a bonus, and seeing our good friend DJ Jeff from Beachfront Radio was the icing on the cake. It was an honor to be part of this special event which benefited the Choriodermia Research Foundation. Great job, everyone!
Tomorrow, we're heading to Panama City Beach, FL, for the sold-out 8th Annual Parrothead Rendezvous hosted by the Panama City Parrot Head Club. Day arm bands will be available, so it's not too late to join us! We're looking forward to seeing a lot of friends on the beach tomorrow!
Speaking of beaches...we are less than two weeks away from the 5th Annual Spring Phling in North Wildwood, NJ! The deadline for online registration is tomorrow, April 19, at midnight, so you fence sitters need to drop on over to join us! The $95 registration fee is a bargain for a weekend chock full of entertainment (some of the best trop-rockers around), food, great drink specials, and a ton of fun. Registration will be available at the door; however, the price goes up to $105, so save yourself a few bucks for cocktails and get registered before tomorrow's deadline. Participating area hotels still have availability - the Harbor Light Motor Inn and the the North Wind Hotel are both offering rooms at $150 for two nights! Can't commit to the weekend? Day passes will be available; see the information below. One way or another, we hope you will join us for this epic Jersey shore event!
