About Latitude
 In 1996, Tom and Michelle Becker were burned out Nashville songwriters who came to Myrtle Beach for a "summer gig", as the house band at a local resort.
They never looked back.
Eighteen summers later, the pair is living the ultimate coastal lifestyle, writing and performing music inspired by the Carolina Coast.
Performing as Latitude, the duo has brought their "music with a tan" to 30 states, Europe and the Caribbean, while making their home in Pawleys Island, SC.
They are 5-time Trop Rock Music Awards Duo of the Year. Michelle is 6-time Trop Rock Music Awards Female Vocalist of the Year and the reigning "Queen of Trop Rock".
The long list of music legends that they have worked with includes: Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, Brenda Lee, Jerry Jeff Walker, Gregg Allman, Lee Greenwood, The Coasters, The Drifters, The Platters, The New Christy Minstrels, Frankie "Sea Cruise" Ford and Comedian Bill Cosby. Contemporary artists they have worked with includes: American Idols, Reuben Studdard and Ace Young and Alternative Rockers, Third Eye Blind.
Each year, the duo takes their fans on a Group Trip. Past trips include Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the Florida Keys.
