Jimmy & the Parrots at Pardi-Gras!
Trop-Rock music's "Entertainer of the Year" is coming back to Pardi-Gras, and we are thrilled to have them back! That's right, our Jersey friends JATP will be returning to perform at The Margaritaville Café on Saturday night. These guys are the most high-energy band around, and they love to interact with their audience. You won't want to miss Jimmy and the Parrots at Pardi-Gras!

Crowning of the King and Queen
A Pardi-Gras tradition for several years, one of the most anticipated events of the weekend is the Crowning of the Pardi-Gras King and Queen. The King and Queen are kept secret until they are announced on Thursday night. They preside over the weekends' festivities, and are on the lead float in the Pardi-Gras Parade on Friday night. The King and Queen for 2014 (pictured here) are Brian Watson and Mo Baumler.

Mela-Grass to Perform at Pardi-Gras!
Pardi-Gras 2015 is pleased to welcome the Tennessee duo "Mela-Grass" to our event for the first time! You may have seen Melanie and Mike around the country this year, as they burned the wheels off their truck touring America. They are a high-energy tandem from the Knoxville area, and we know that you will love them. Let's be sure to give them a warm Pardi-Gras welcome! They will perform Thursday night from 9-11pm upstairs at the Tropical Isle, corner of Bourbon and St. Ann streets.

Pardi-Gras Pub Crawl 2015!
It's the most talked about event at Pardi-Gras, and has been going on since the very first rendition. It is the world-famous Pardi-Gras Pub Crawl, and it happens on Friday afternoon, from 4-6pm, come rain or shine, hurricanes, locusts and pestilence notwithstanding! 200 (maybe closer to 300) P-G revelers take to Bourbon Street en masse, and descend upon 6 unsuspecting bars for drinks. There is always live music, costumes, a pub crawl "marshal", a Gator (pictured above) and more outrageous fun than should be allowed. Don't miss this one folks!

Don Middlebrook to Perform at Pardi-Gras 2015!
*
Making a return appearance to Pardi-Gras this year is a terrific Michigan singer /songwriter, Don Middlebrook. Don will be kicking the party off on Saturday morning again this year. He and Mad Marty from Big Burrito Radio have helped us get the party started on Saturday morning for several years now! It's fun, and very interactive, and broadcast on the internet. This award-winning songwriter is touring in support of his latest CD, "Talespin".

Monte Tolar's Pirate Toast
One of the most popular events within Pardi-Gras every year is the Monte Tolar Pirate Toast at midnight on Friday. It takes place in the courtyard of Jean Lafitte's Blacksmith Shoppe, which is the oldest structure in North America operating as a bar. Revelers are invited to wear your best pirate gear, and help us honor the great pirate Jean Lafitte, and our good friend, the late Monte Tolar, for whom the event is named.

Southern Drawl Band @
Pardi-Gras 2015!
Making their first appearance (as a band) at Pardi-Gras, please welcome Tennessee's favorite sons, The Southern Drawl Band, to Pardi-Gras 2015. SDB will be performing at The Tropical Isle on Friday evening, between the Bourbon Street Pub Crawl, and the Pardi-Gras Parade. They are the perfect "pardi" band for the perfect "pardi" crowd!

Pardi-Gras Street Party Returns in 2015! Great news Pardi-Gras fans! It looks like about a 90% certainty that the world famous Pardi-Gras Street Party on Bourbon Street will return in 2015. We're awaiting the permits to be signed by the City of New Orleans, but in the meantime, the stage has been secured, the PA system is ready to go, and the band (Jerry Diaz & Hanna's Reef) has been booked. We'll keep you up to date on the issue of the permit, but for now, you can assume that everythinig is a "go" on the street party. Yay!

Boat Drunks Coming to Pardi-Gras 2015!
They're coming back! The Boat Drunks that is. They will be playing Friday night, Jan. 16, 2015 at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Cafe, right after the huge Pardi-Gras Bourbon Street Parade. They are touring right now in support of their new album, "Covering Their Tracks". It's always a party when the Boat Drunks are in town!
