John Reno Returns for 17th Year!
From Fairhope, Alabama, and making his 17th consecutive Pardi-Gras appearance, Pardi-Gras is excited to have our friend John Reno perform at our event this year! An extremely talented performer, John can go wherever the crowd wants to go, including great Buffett and Trop-Rock covers, Jim Croce tribute covers, and best of all, some of the best original music you've ever heard. He's toured the country extensively for years, and you've seen him at Pardi-Gras as part of a duo, a trio, and in our favorite configuration, a solo artist this year. You've probably heard that John has performed at Pardi-Gras more than any other entertainer...it's true!
Margaritaville Foods Tasting Party!
Kick off the weekend early, with an outstanding sampling opportunity! Margaritaville Foods provides the food, and The Orleans Grapevine provides the laid back setting for this perfect afternoon. Margaritaville Foods is the division of the company that produces and markets the take home goodies that you find in your local grocery store. They will have several items here for sampling, and it is delicious! We'll also have live music in the courtyard, and in case you were wondering, the bar at the Grapevine WILL be open too! (The tasting party is Thursday, Jan. 15, from 1-3pm, at the Grapevine Restaurant)
Gene Mitchell to Perform at Pardi-Gras!
Pardi-Gras is pleased to welcome a good friend, and terrific entertainer, Gene Mitchell back to our event. Based out of Panama City Beach, Florida for the past 25 years, this world traveler has a dozen great CDs recorded, and available for purchase. Gene performs 6 nights a week in PCB, but occasionally takes off for special events such as ours. Gene has appeared on national TV, performing at the halftime show at the Capital One Bowl in Orlando, and his music has been played on network TV shows. You can hear his music "live" at Pardi-Gras, from Gene himself!
Pardi-Gras Parade on Bourbon Street!
Get ready, because the Pardi-Gras Parade in the French Quarter is back, and better than ever! World-famous Blaine Kern Studios supplies the floats, and we'll supply the fun! Everyone on Bourbon Street lines up to see us parade from Tropical Isle to Margaritaville Cafe. You can walk, OR if you really want a special night, purchase one of the very limited spots that we will offer for sale on one of the floats! It's the experience of a lifetime, and a definite "bucket-list" opportunity!
Jimmy and the Parrots at Pardi-Gras!

Trop-Rock music's "Entertainer of the Year" is coming back to Pardi-Gras, and we are thrilled to have them back! That's right, our Jersey friends JATP will be returning to perform at The Margaritaville Café on Saturday night. These guys are the most high-energy band around, and they love to interact with their audience. You won't want to miss Jimmy and the Parrots at Pardi-Gras!
Crowning of the King and Queen
A Pardi-Gras tradition for several years, one of the most anticipated events of the weekend is the Crowning of the Pardi-Gras King and Queen. The King and Queen are kept secret until they are announced on Thursday night. They preside over the weekends' festivities, and are on the lead float in the Pardi-Gras Parade on Friday night. The King and Queen for 2014 (pictured here) are Brian Watson and Mo Baumler.
PLEASE NOTE: A very LIMITED number of spots on a Pardi-Gras float will go on sale within the next few days. We'll make a special announcement when they do, so stay TUNED!

Mela-Grass to Perform at Pardi-Gras!
Pardi-Gras 2015 is pleased to welcome the Tennessee duo "Mela-Grass" to our event for the first time! You may have seen Melanie and Mike around the country this year, as they burned the wheels off their truck touring America. They are a high-energy tandem form the Knoxville area, and we know that you will love them. Let's be sure to give them a warm Pardi-Gras welcome! They will perfrom Thursday night from 9-11pm upstairs at the Tropical Isle, corner of Bourbon and St. Ann streets.

Pardi-Gras Pub Crawl 2015!
Master Gator & Snake
It's the most talked about event at Pardi-Gras, and has been going on since the very first rendition. It is the world-famous Pardi-Gras Pub Crawl, and it happens on Friday afternoon, from 4-6pm, come rain or shine, hurricanes, locusts and pestilence notwithstanding! 200 (maybe closer to 300) P-G revelers take to Bourbon Street en masse, and descend upon 6 unsuspecting bars for drinks. There is always live music, costumes, a pub crawl "marshal", a Gator (pictured above) and more outrageous fun than should be allowed. Don't miss this one folks!

Don Middlebrook to Perform at Pardi-Gras 2015!

*

Making a return appearance to Pardi-Gras this year is a terrific Michigan singer /songwriter, Don Middlebrook. Don will be kicking the party off on Saturday morning again this year. He and Mad Marty from Big Burrito Radio have helped us get the party started on Saturday morning for several years now! It's fun, and very inter-active, and broadcast on the internet. This award-winning songwriter is touring in support of his latest CD, "Talespin".

Monte Tolar's Pirate Toast
One of the most popular events within Pardi-Gras every year is the Monte Tolar Pirate Toast at midnight on Friday. It takes place in the courtyard of Jean Lafitte's Blacksmith Shoppe, which is the oldest structure in North America operating as a bar. Revelers are invited to wear your best pirate gear, and help us honor the great pirate Jean Lafitte, and our good friend, the late Monte Tolar, for whom the event is named.
