The Detentions 2019 "Yes It Is" Summer Tour and Key West Sunset Cruise

Detentions 2019 Tour Press Release

Attention Tampa! Salutations Detroit! Heya Chicago! Rock Over Galveston! Whats' up Oklahoma City! Lookin' good Key West! Ladies and Gentleman! The Detentions wish you a very Rockamole 2019! We are so excited to get out on the road this summer and play for as many folks as possible.

We're touring to support our latest CD of original music. It's called "Yes It Is" and therein lies our vision for the summer tour. "Yes It Is" showcases Dan and Chris at their most dynamic and heartfelt. Original tunes from the heart of Texas. This set of songs focus on love and how that affects us all. Love for your family. Love for a boozy day at the beach. And because it's us, we included a melancholy tale of love on the high seas and a declaration of our admiration for our armed forces.

We are starting "Yes It Is Tour 2019" on June 1st in Tampa at the Yard and come smoking across the finish line August 3rd at Chicago Summer Chi.ill Fest. The following day, we return to an alternative universe and, shedding our rockstar alter egos we become school teachers once again. During our tour you can check us out at Meet Me in the Keys (www.southernmostcoconutcastaways.com/mmitk), A1A Beach Bash in St. Augustine, FL., at the Summer Solstace Trop Rock Festival in Branson, MO. (https://summersolstice.myevent.com/), Riddles in the Sand (http://www.gbphc-riddlesinthesand.com/Home_Page.html), and Chicago Summer Chi.Ill Fest (www.summerchi-ill.com). You can heck out our full tour schedule at www.thedetentions.com.

We'd be remiss not to mention that we'll be performing at Meeting of the Minds in Key West this November. To celebrate, we've chartered a 67' catamaran and are hosting our very own sunset cruise on Saturday, November 2. We'll be joined by tropical guitar god Jonas Lorence and the Mad Quebecker, the Bonguy/Conguy Quentin Leverich! Two hours of free beer, wine, champagne and margaritas (and a cash bar for us professional drinkers) and all the Rockamole you can handle. Get your tickets at www.thedetentions.com.
