Okay, we decided that we couldn't break our consecutive years of having a Parade at Pardi-Gras, even if it is more of a symbolic gesture than a full blown parade.
So this is what we have planned:
We'll gather alongside the Tropical Isle (Orleans Street side) at 8pm on Friday. It will be a simple one block walk to Dauphine Street, then to St. Peter Street, St. Peter to Bourbon, then back down Bourbon Street to the Tropical Isle again. It will be lead by the newly crowned King and Queen in a Pedi-Cab. If you have beads, you will have a brief period of time to throw them while we are on Bourbon Street. When we return to the Tropical Isle, we will have Monte Tolar's Pirate Toast, and a brief remembrance to our good friend Earl Bernhardt. No "sign up" necessary; just be at the designated area at that time.
