Sometimes the dates and days do not fall as we want them too. House Concerts can always sway the date, But not the moment. Thank you Sunny Jim and Shining Adela for our wonderful Sunny New Year!
We are so honored to be on the first House Concert Venue for 2014... Oh my did we have the time of our lives and I have to say the Sunniest Day in Cinnamon Tree ever for a light rainy day.. Sunny Jim always jokes about bringing the guitar,pans and kitchen sink. Cinnamon Tree on a belated New Years he brought more
than just the hardware, He brought Heart. Sunny Jim shared his new CD with us and his new ventures.Yep, you are reading this fresh off The Shore Press - You can find Sunny Jim in the Caymans, Texas , Florida and even at The Big Easy (New Orleans). But now ya better be on the look out if you are in Cali, Washington,Canada and everywhere! That's right , Adela is in charge and booking him everywhere as their twins are finishing up college --- Its time to bank on the fun as she joins him and works him with a smile on her face and a new dance move to his tunes.
They both express over and over how much fun they have been having with their new adventure on "Road Gig" life together with their Friends and Family. I have a new word for the two of them "Fanily" . Thatsright if ya have Sunny Jim and Adela step in your home for a House Concert, You have Fanily !! The hearts and happiest these two bring is beyond words,But Awards. Remember fans voted our Sunny Jim as Best Male Vocalist and Best Entertainer of the Year for 2013. I tend to agree with everyone.
As Sunny opened his house concert at Cinnamon Tree he sang "Auld Lang Syne" and a graceful toast withJumbie Rum.Could we have a better delayed New Years Eve? Sunny Jim is on
the road to another year as entertainer of the year. Sunny played acoustic guitar to start our evening out with comfort and ease. Then heampped it out with the steel guitar and topped it with the steel drums at the same time he even whistled. Oh my , I was so pleased and wowed with his diversity. Sunny Jim has been doing House Concerts here at Cinnamon Tree for more than three years and they are never the same. We see Sunny on the road and in Key West he never has the same act/performance.
I could tell ya everything we heard and learned about Sunny's plans with Adela beside him as they get to hit the road together and share this chapter in their life,But I would be giving you a version of my experience of Tropical Paradise with these two when you have the opportunity to have these wonderful folks in your own home. Like I said its the new word I came up with for Sunny and Adela -- Its all about Fanily!!
