| Hello Friends, one and all, as we bring in September 2015!!! Indian summer is upon us and once again time has that way of moving us along at top speed in calendar days, where January turns to June, turns to September, in the blink of an eye. While the numbers in years and days and months go by faster and faster it seems, there is a timeless element to these days as well that makes me smile and feel like my job at this moment is a moment well lived and enjoyed! I can thank you for being a big part of that in sharing this music that we hit every hill and dale each year to bring your way. Time and time again a song saves my life and reminds me that to share these days we're given with friends and loved ones is a privilege that is life's treasure. We just finished up a two-and-a-half week tour that hit Cedar Rapids, IA; Linn, MO; Kansas City, MO; Hastings, NE; Lincoln, NE; Madison Beach, CT; St. Louis, MO, at the Duck Room; Roscoe, IL; Manhattan, IL; Warsaw, IN; Erie, PA; Louisville, KY; and Columbus, OH. Some of the concerts were charity concerts, some were just Brendan and myself playing house concerts or at the beach, some were the full group, but ALL were extra special. Thank you for being a part of those shows! We recorded most of those shows live, and will be sending those CDs out in the next month. Thanks for your patience in that we make sure each CD is tracked and sounding its very best. | | | The Mayer-Kirby-Mayer Acoustic Tour 2015, with Gary Green! | |  | | Signed tour posters will be available for purchase at the merchandise table at these shows. | | Speaking of touring, we're ready to hit the road again with Scott Kirby, Brendan Mayer and this year special guest Gary Green!! For any of you who were down in Key West at the Smokin' Tuna Saloon, or watched on the Tuna Cam, don't miss this group!! Along with Scott, Brendan and myself playing songs, telling stories, we have added Gary Green to the mix this year and sparks will fly! He is a fabulous musician and adds a nice touch to the mix.
We're privileged each year to do several charity shows in this tour and this year we are playing Charlottesville, for a cause that is near and dear to our hearts. On September 16th, we'll play the beautiful Paramount Theater in Charlottesville, VA, to benefit the Robin and Mani Legacy Project. Robin Aldridge and her daughter Mani were long time friends of both Scott and myself, and last year were victims of a senseless violent crime in Charlottesville. Please come and join us if you can to honor these two wonderful people and to support a worthy cause. The show will raise funds for the Robin and Mani All Buddy Camp and the Robin Aldridge Memorial at Hollymead Elementary School.
