Heartfelt lyrics that all our Military Personnel past and present should feel proud for following their Countries Call of Duty to return home receiving a simple greeting of appreciation. All Veterans should feel special and be treated with a higher standard of respect for the service they have fulfilled for us and our beautiful country. I have already started to use these words as I see some of the Vets I see on a daily bases- " Hi how are ya today? I know I have told you Thanks for your service,but I would like to say Welcome Home" the faces light up and some have said Thank you to me for saying what no one ever said to them. This song is an amazing new way of communicating on a new level of appreciation for our Service Men and Women. These two words Welcome Home now have a stronger bond in our home more then ever. This song has encouraged me to use these simple words with a greeting I use often when meeting a new veteran or on Military holidays, I would like to say this to one of the co-writers of this song- "Thank you for your service & Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran Steve Marks". Truly a well deserve listen to this song is recommended for all.
