The Freight Room of the historic Venice Train Depot has been the site of many evenings filled with musical magic. Sunny Jim invites songwriters to jam with him before a listening audience, and these informal sessions are always unique experiences filled with fun and laughter. The charm, atmosphere and acoustics of the Freight Room create the perfect venue for intimate shows.
Songwriters who have filled the Freight Room with their music through the years include Jim Morris, Hugo Duarte, Scott Kirby, Keith Sykes, John Frinzi, Rob Mehl, Brent Burns, Donny Brewer, Thom Shepherd & Coley McCabe, Latitude and many more.
Heather Vidal is here this week and Cayman's Barefoot Man is scheduled to perform this fall. New to the lineup in 2019 are The Detentions and Eric Erdman, all wonderful singer/songwriters that Sunny Jim is excited to host.
